Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Maintenance Technician in White Pine, TN to manage equipment readiness and maintenance across plant operations and facilities. You will oversee maintenance processes, inspect equipment, and ensure proper operation. The role requires hands-on experience and collaboration with contractors.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, proficiency in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical work, and blueprints, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience with welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and reading blueprints.
• Electrical experience with single-phase and three-phase power.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and perform physical duties.
• Strong written and verbal communication; Word/Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes mechanical/operational problems and plans corrective actions.
• Represents Clayton when dealing with outside contractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Oversees continuous monitoring of production equipment via routine inspections.
• Assists in creating and maintaining preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintains documentation and tool/equipment records for production.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
