Weinstein Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician – EPA Certified in Midlothian, VA. The role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus, pay starting at $22/hour, on-call pay, and a quarterly bonus up to $980. Benefits include rent discount, PTO, holidays, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match and more.

Typical schedule is Mon–Fri, 8:00–5:00 with on-call rotations. Responsibilities include completing work orders, appliance maintenance, HVAC/electrical/plumbing repairs, and helping keep the community

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of apartment/residential maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
• Hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments.
• Assist with apartment turns and make-readies.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry items.
• Help maintain the community’s appearance including grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.

Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours/week)
• Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

What You’ll Be Doing as a Maintenance Technician

• Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments

• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
