Weinstein Properties seeks a Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified to join our team in Richmond, VA. This full-time role involves hands-on maintenance across the community, completing work orders in occupied and vacant apartments, and supporting apartment turns.

You’ll troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry, with on-call rotation and competitive pay. Benefits include PTO, holidays, a 401(k) with company match, and a quarterly bonus based on property and team

Qualifications

• 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification Type II or Universal required.

Responsabilités

Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours/week)
• Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

What You’ll Be Doing as a Maintenance Technician

• Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments
• Assist with apartment turns and make-readies
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry items
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
• Hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year-round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
