The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the facility, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail‑oriented, and experienced working in healthcare or residential settings.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and minor repairs
Complete general building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor repairs
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs
Conduct regular safety inspections and report hazards or needed repairs
Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility safety regulations
Work collaboratively with administration, nursing, and outside vendors as needed
HVAC experience preferred but not required
Previous maintenance experience in a healthcare, nursing facility, or residential setting preferred
Working knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb as required for maintenance duties
