Co-Founder & COO | Heartline Staffing
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a dependable, hands‑on Maintenance Technician / Electrician for a full‑time, onsite manufacturing opportunity in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. This role is well suited for an experienced industrial electrical technician as well as a recent skilled‑trades or technical‑school graduate with strong electrical aptitude and the desire to continue building hands‑on maintenance skills.
The Maintenance Technician / Electrician supports the repair and maintenance of industrial machinery, electrical systems, and facility equipment. This position combines electrical troubleshooting with hands‑on mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance, machine repair, basic fabrication, and equipment testing.
The technician will perform electrical assignments with or without drawings, run electrical circuits, bend conduit, wire into breaker boxes and switchgear, maintain rectifiers, and work with DC electrical systems. The role also requires strong safety awareness, including compliance with Arc Flash standards.
Relevant experience may include work with:
Recent graduates from accredited skilled‑trades or technical programs are encouraged to apply when they have strong electrical aptitude and hands‑on technical training. The employer is open to developing motivated candidates who demonstrate strong safety awareness, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn.
Recent graduates from accredited skilled‑trades or technical programs are encouraged to apply. A candidate with strong technical education, hands‑on electrical training, and the ability to demonstrate industrial electrical aptitude may warrant consideration even without an extensive employment history.
Familiarity with rectifiers, DC currents, and plating processes is highly desirable. Candidates with directly transferable industrial DC electrical experience should be fully documented during screening.
High school diploma or GED is listed by the employer. Vocational or technical education is preferred. Relevant hands‑on industrial electrical experience, technical-school training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may satisfy the practical experience requirement.
This is a hands‑on industrial electrical maintenance role. General building maintenance or residential electrical experience without industrial/manufacturing electrical troubleshooting should not be treated as equivalent without further verification.
