Hours: 7am-4pm

Salary Range: $32 - $44 per hour DOE

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical background who is comfortable working hands-on in a manufacturing environment.

This is not a desk or programming position. We need someone who can troubleshoot electrical problems, make quality repairs, install equipment correctly, and work safely around operating production equipment.

What You’ll Do
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment and machinery
  • Diagnose 480V/3-phase power, motors, motor starters, contactors, relays, breakers and control circuits
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment using inputs, outputs and machine sequence to determine why equipment is not operating correctly
  • Troubleshoot sensors, photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches and other field devices
  • Work with VFDs and industrial motor controls
  • Install and terminate electrical wiring and equipment
  • Bend and install EMT and rigid conduit
  • Pull wire, size conductors and make professional electrical installations
  • Read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics and prints
  • Perform electrical measurements and testing using meters and other diagnostic equipment
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot industrial instrumentation and devices
  • Perform preventive maintenance and respond to production breakdowns
  • Assist with mechanical maintenance and equipment repairs when needed
  • Maintain clean, safe and code-compliant workmanship
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Experience working with 120V, 208/240V and 480V industrial electrical systems
  • Strong understanding of motor controls and control circuits
  • Ability to troubleshoot PLC inputs and outputs; PLC programming experience is not required
  • Experience with VFDs, sensors and industrial controls
  • Ability to bend conduit and perform complete electrical installations
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and follow machine sequences
  • Comfortable using a multimeter and electrical troubleshooting equipment
  • Willingness to work hands-on and assist wherever needed to keep production equipment operating
  • Strong safety practices, communication and documentation
The Person We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of problems. When equipment goes down, you should be comfortable getting into the machine, reading the prints, checking power and controls, following the sequence of operation and finding the actual cause of the failure.

We value technicians who make safe, professional repairs rather than temporary fixes and who communicate clearly with production and the rest of the maintenance team.
