Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery at our Washington facility. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and repair components using a variety of hand and power tools.

The role requires at least 5 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical principles. Safety PPE is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining production equipment and electrical components.
• Ability to read safety procedures and maintenance instructions.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and electrical principles.

Responsibilities

• Replace, install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair production equipment and electrical components.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep machines operating at peak efficiency.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids; replace filters and worn parts as needed.
• Replace faulty parts, wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards.
• Disassemble equipment to access defective parts and use hand/power tools.
• Lubricate, clean, and align components to ensure proper operation.
• Operate hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Operate production machines to understand capabilities and troubleshoot.
