Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair machinery and systems in a facility. This role minimizes downtime and ensures safe, efficient operation.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong mechanical and electrical know-how, and solid safety discipline. On-site work with potential on-call duties; MS Office skills help with record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Vocational or technical training certificate or associate’s degree a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Must follow safety protocols and adhere to safety standards.
• Technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and testing components; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery, equipment, and systems to identify issues and ensure proper functioning.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment in good working condition.
• Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment using diagnostic tools and expertise.
• Perform repairs or replace parts as necessary.
• Work with electrical and mechanical systems within the facility.
• Respond to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities and inventory.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to coordinate work.
• Keep work area clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Generate work orders and close them in operating systems; on-call may be required.
