Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair machinery across our fly ash and cement-related operations. You will use diagnostic tools and your expertise to identify issues and perform repairs to keep equipment running efficiently.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, generating work orders, interpreting manuals and schematics, and collaborating with engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical training or certificate is a plus.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Identify problems with machinery or mobile equipment using diagnostic tools and knowledge.
• Perform repairs or replace parts as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and PM programs to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Generate and close work orders in operating systems.
• Consult manuals, blueprints, and schematics to understand systems.
• Use a range of tools from basic hand tools to diagnostic equipment.
• Collaborate with mechanics, engineers, and technicians as needed.
