Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in Kenner, Louisiana is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, ensuring reliable operation of our casino facilities and related infrastructure.

You will diagnose equipment malfunctions, implement effective solutions, respond to emergencies such as power outages or leaks, maintain detailed maintenance records and schedules, read technical materials and blueprints, and

Qualifications

High school diploma required; trade school or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 3 years in commercial/industrial maintenance.
Proficient with hand and power tools; safety first.
Ability to read technical materials, schematics and blueprints.
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks.
Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
Experience with emergency response procedures.
Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
Basic computer skills for maintenance systems.
Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain required certifications.

Responsibilities

Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions; implement solutions.
Respond to emergencies including fire, outages, and leaks.
Maintain equipment inspections and detailed maintenance logs.
Follow schedules for preventative maintenance procedures.
Identify and report major repairs or upgrades to management.
Ensure safety protocols and maintenance standards compliance.
Maintain organized documentation of all activities and repairs.
