Job summary

Greystone of Lincoln is seeking a maintenance technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery and plant systems on site. You will inspect machinery, diagnose issues, and work with vendors to troubleshoot problems.

Responsibilities include laying out and maintaining piping and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment, as well as electrical apparatus and automated machinery. Safety, teamwork, and reliability are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or trade/technical certification, plus related experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills; knowledge of plumbing, pump repair, welding and carpentry depending on area.
• Good reading of safety rules and work instructions; able to read and interpret documentation.
• Ability to follow instructions, take corrections, contribute ideas, and work well in a team.
• Overtime may be required to meet department goals.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and tests machinery and equipment; detects problems and completes repairs.
• Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus and wiring on machinery.
• Installs, programs and/or repairs automated machinery and equipment.
• Adheres to lock out/tag out and safety guidelines at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
