Job summary

Vantive is seeking a Maintenance Technician (MT) to maintain automated production machinery and minimize downtime. You will perform preventive maintenance, coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor, and ensure equipment availability while following all safety programs.

The role demands reading electrical/pneumatic diagrams, basic hydraulics knowledge, and ability to work with limited supervision in a manufacturing environment. Overtime may be required, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Technical Associates degree (2 year) preferred.
• Preferred 3 years of applicable experience/demonstrated skill required.
• Required 2 years as a Production Technician or Auxiliary.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on automated production machinery to reduce downtime and meet schedules.
• Performs preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment availability.
• Position reports to a Maintenance Supervisor.
• Reads and interprets electrical and pneumatic diagrams; knowledge of hydraulics preferred.
• Works to understand technical drawings and schematics; collaborates with suppliers to resolve issues.
