Job summary

Innovative Labs in Utah is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. You’ll follow safety protocols and preventive maintenance practices to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities include responding to repairs during production, performing routine PM tasks, and collaborating across teams to ensure reliable operations. Strong mechanical/electrical skills and safety awareness are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of maintenance duties to install, troubleshoot, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment
• Respond promptly to emergency and unscheduled equipment repairs during production, while also completing scheduled maintenance during planned downtime
• Carry out basic machinist tasks as needed to support equipment repair and fabrication
• Apply strong mechanical aptitude across systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components, to diagnose issues and perform effective repairs
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders to accurately complete maintenance tasks
• Identify root causes of equipment failures, repair or replace defective components, and test systems to ensure proper operation
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facility systems to maximize uptime and efficiency
• Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and material handling devices
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, faulty operations, or defective materials to appropriate personnel
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work environment
• Provide cross‑coverage for team members during vacations or absences as needed
• Support overall operations by performing additional duties as assigned
