Job summary

Worth Ross Management Company (WRMC) is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day operations at a luxury condominium community in Downtown Austin. You will perform routine maintenance, handle light repairs, assist with HVAC tasks, and help with move-ins/move-outs while ensuring safety and quality.

Reporting to the Chief Building Engineer, you will escort vendors, oversee common areas, and provide backup support as needed.

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to be on-call or respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
• Reliability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs in common areas and residential units.
• Handle entry-level tasks including light plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and lock repairs.
• Assist with HVAC-related tasks such as filter replacement and basic inspections.
• Support move-ins and move-outs by preparing common areas and assisting with logistics.
• Escort vendors and contractors, operate freight elevators as needed, and conduct walkthroughs before and after work is completed.
• Assist with general building upkeep, porter duties, and package handling when needed.
• Serve as backup support to the Chief Building Engineer when required.
