Job summary

Worth Ross Management Company, Inc. is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance operations at a luxury condominium community in Downtown Austin.

You will report to the Chief Building Engineer and help keep common areas and residential units safe, functional, and well-maintained. The role involves hands-on duties across plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and HVAC-related tasks, plus assisting with move-ins/move-outs and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
• HVAC experience required.
• Willingness to be on-call or respond to after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs in common areas and residential units.
• Handle entry-level tasks including light plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and lock repairs.
• Assist with HVAC-related tasks such as filter replacement and basic inspections.
• Support move-ins and move-outs by preparing common areas and assisting with logistics.
• Escort vendors and contractors, operate freight elevators as needed, and conduct walkthroughs before and after work is completed.
• Assist with general building upkeep, porter duties, and package handling when needed.
• Serve as backup support to the Chief Building Engineer when required.
