Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for a full-time day shift in a long-term care setting. You will troubleshoot building mechanical problems, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure reliable operations.

The role requires working knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, and adherence to safety rules and department procedures; on-call weekend rotation is required. Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Computer knowledge.
• Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot building mechanical problems.
• Perform miscellaneous repairs, scheduled, and preventative maintenance on equipment ensuring satisfactory operations.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, various heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
• Follow established safety rules, policies, and procedures of the maintenance department.
• Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director and Administrator.
