Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician for the Day Shift (Mon–Fri, 6:30AM–3:00PM) in Hanahan, SC. You will inspect, test and repair equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and document results to keep products in sellable condition.

Required: reading electrical/mechanical/pneumatic drawings, knowledge of relevant systems, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A degree or Journeyman license and 1 year appliance tech experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience reading electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process products that require testing and mechanical evaluation, and perform all cosmetic repairs to restore products to sellable conditions
• Follow basic functional testing procedures for appliances
• Perform preventive maintenance with adequate recordkeeping
• Locate sources of problems by observing and listening to the appliance; diagnose and make repairs
• Document performance of preventive maintenance, equipment repair, part usages, etc.
