Valmont is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment. The role includes 1st shift hours, a starting pay rate of $24.47 per hour, and opportunities for step pay increases at 90 days, 1 year, and 2 years, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, diagnostics of plant equipment and vehicles, and safe use of test equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use tire changing equipment and tools.
• Must be able to troubleshoot DC voltages.
• Read and write clearly.
• Work safely following procedures including Lockout/Tag Out.

Responsabilités

• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and facilities.
• Diagnoses, tests, disassembles, inspects, repairs and re-assembles equipment and vehicles.
• Troubleshoots pneumatic and hydraulic components.
• Performs adjustments and replacements of mechanical drives and clutches.
• Repairs worn parts and fabricates fixtures when needed.
• Records labor and materials for each repair.
• Uses test equipment safely and operates lift devices as required.
• Occasionally available for call outs to support production.
