Nestl Purina in Zanesville, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support reliable plant operations and drive improvements across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. The role emphasizes safety and cross-functional collaboration to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of maintenance experience in manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment OR a two-year technical degree completed.
• Experience with 480V preferred.

• Install and program Variable Frequency Drives.
• Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain switch gears, control wiring and components, overcurrent and overload protection for plant motors including three phase systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls systems including motors and PLCs.
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
• Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment.
• Maintain wastewater system, boiler operations, cooling towers, and general building needs.
• Utilize thermal imaging and ultrasonic analysis.

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll complete preventative and predictive maintenance tasks to support machine reliability and process improvements across our processes. Lead with safety as you work cross-functionally and collaboratively to troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay ranges from $30.28 to $39.60 with a Maintenance Progression Plan to provide increasing wages based on knowledge/skill demonstration and performance reviews
