Job summary

Nestlé Purina Flagstaff is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service plant systems across facilities, unloading, processing, packing and warehouse operations. You’ll troubleshoot motor controls, PLCs, and electrical systems while delivering predictive maintenance to improve reliability.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, plus 6+ months of maintenance experience or a 2-year technical degree. You must be open to all shifts, including nights and weekends.

• Repair gear reducers, conveyors, elevators, and packaging equipment.
• Maintain wastewater systems, boiler operations, cooling towers, and building needs.
• Conduct predictive maintenance such as vibration analysis and oil sampling.

Position Summary

Resting at 7,000 feet and surrounded by the San Francisco Peaks, the scenic city of Flagstaff remains an important distribution site for large manufacturers like Nestlé Purina. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance of all plant systems including facilities, unloading, processing, packing, and warehouse operations. Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment as you always work in a safe manner to enhance machine reliability and process improvements across the facility. Make an impact on our processes as you deliver vital predictive and preventative maintenance work to our machinery.

• Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment.
• Maintain wastewater system, boiler operations, cooling towers, and general building needs.
• Complete predictive maintenance such as vibration analysis and oil sample collection.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6+ months of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment -OR- a 2-year technical degree completed.

Other

• Must be willing to work all shifts including nights and weekends.

Pay: $34.17 - $48.78 per hour

Thepay rangeprovided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
