Job summary

BORJA ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION, Inc is seeking a professional Custodian with strong maintenance experience to join our team. The role focuses on task accuracy and quality control, with daily workflow management and the ability to operate a golf or utility cart.

Responsibilities include creating housekeeping schedules, daily restroom cleaning, staff training, and maintaining cleaning standards. The position involves light lifting and grounds maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in cleaning and maintenance for organizations preferred.
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment.
• Capable of using landscaping and handyman tools.
• Strong organizational/management skills.
• Proficient in creating schedules with computer tools.
• Able to lift light loads and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating housekeeping schedules as needed
• Daily cleaning of restrooms, break areas
• Assistance in training all janitorial staff as needed
• Ensuring company cleaning standards are consistently met
• Needed in cleaning according to company and standards
• Work on deep cleanings as scheduled
• Organizing and maintaining the stock of supplies responsibly
• Work site maintenance to include groundskeeping and minor landscaping
• Reporting maintenance issues to the maintenance department and/or management
