Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for responding to maintenance requests, performing plumbing repairs, and maintaining the property’s overall functionality. If you have experience in plumbing, custodial work, and general maintenance,

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Install, maintain, and repair various plumbing systems, including cabling drains, clearing clogged lines, sweating pipes, and troubleshooting plumbing issues.
• Perform outdoor custodial duties to keep the property clean and presentable.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists on property equipment and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience in maintenance, plumbing, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage urgent maintenance needs.
• Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and performing maintenance tasks in various weather conditions.

Minimum Qualifications (Education/Experience):

Required - High School Diploma

Preferred - One year of Maintenance Tech/Custodian or janitorial/custodian experience.

Preferred - One year of experience operating floor care or motorized equipment.

Listening skills - strong active listening skills help Service Workers follow instructions clearly and understand what is required of them before beginning a task.

Attention to detail - Service Workers ensure that the area they are managing is cleaned thoroughly, so attention to detail is a key aspect of the role

Time management - this job requires the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and to set schedules, so applicants need good time management skills

Physical stamina - Service Workers spend most of their workday on their feet, operating cleaning equipment so good physical strength and stamina is a must

Mechanical skills - this job involves using, driving and charging floor cleaning equipment and tools, so applicants must be familiar with mechanical equipment
