Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Technician to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on bringing units up to market-ready condition in line with Peak Living standards, with hours based on community needs and including potential weekends and after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities include completing make-ready maintenance, handling work orders, assisting with building and common area upkeep, and supporting preventative maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience.
• EPA and CPO certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of general maintenance (electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, etc.).
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for bringing units up to market ready condition in accordance with Peak Living standards. Typical range of hours is based on the community needs and may require weekends and after hour emergency services.

• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance to Peak Living standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.
• 30 hours or less a week.
