Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team. Under the Service Manager, you will bring units to market-ready condition and complete assigned work orders.

You will assist with building and common area maintenance, preventative maintenance, and property equipment. English communication is required, and at least 1 year of general maintenance experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of general maintenance experience in a property management environment.
• Boiler experience preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must communicate in English.

Overview

Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for bringing units up to market ready condition in accordance with Peak Living standards. Typical range of hours is based on the community needs and may require weekends and after hour emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Complete make ready maintenance.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance to Peak Living standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in general maintenance in property management environment.
• Boiler experience preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Knowledge of general maintenance (i.e., electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, etc.)
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
