Job summary

EMBREY is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Cooper's Row in San Antonio, TX. This full-time role keeps the property’s buildings and amenities in top condition and supports the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

You will perform preventive maintenance, make minor repairs, and respond to service requests while upholding safety and cleanliness standards across the property.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance experience in property management or related field.
• Possession of minimum tools required.
• Ability to be available on-call 24 hours, seven days a week.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to the requirements of the Safety Manual.
• Assist in preventative maintenance, safety, and housekeeping practices.
• Inspect and maintain the property, buildings, and equipment in a safe condition.
• Assist with unit make-readies, service requests, and general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure grounds, buildings, and units are functional, safe, and attractive.
• Perform minor repairs on appliances, floors, walls, cabinets, doors, and fixtures.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective clothing.
• Maintain inventories of supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with minor resident maintenance requests.
• Perform other property-related tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Complete other tasks and/or projects as needed.
• Respond to requests promptly.
• Clean grounds around the office and pool area daily.
• Periodically inventory supplies.
• Ensure move-out documentation is approved and signed.
• Report and correct safety hazards promptly.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the maintenance and repairs of the buildings and ancillary/amenity areas, along with assisting the Maintenance Supervisor in the operations of the Maintenance Department and meeting the needs of our residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to the requirements of the Safety Manual
• Assist in implementing preventative maintenance, safety, and good housekeeping practices
• Inspect and maintain the property, buildings, and equipment in an attractive, clean, and safe condition at all times in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Assist in organizing, prioritizing, and completing unit make-readies, service requests, and general maintenance tasks according to company standards in a timely manner
• Assist in ensuring that the grounds, buildings, and units are fully functional, safe, and attractive. Inspect grounds, buildings, and units on a regular basis
• Perform minor repairs on appliances, floors, walls, cabinets, doors, and fixtures in units
• Follow all safety procedures, including wearing safety and protective clothing
• Assist in maintaining inventories of supplies, tools, and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs
• Assist with minor resident maintenance requests
• Perform other property-related tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager in the operation of the property
• Maintain all maintenance responsibilities as assigned
• Complete other tasks and/or projects as needed
• Respond to requests in a timely manner
• Clean grounds at the exterior of the office and pool area according to company standards daily
• Periodically conduct an inventory of supplies
• Ensure move-out documentation is approved and signed
• Report any safety hazards found and correct them on a timely basis

Qualifications
