Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. in partnership with a Fortune 500 company, is seeking Maintenance Mechanics to support peak retail season in Fort Mill, SC. These long-term roles (with potential to be hired on) won’t last long and require 3rd shift coverage.

Competitive pay of $34–$37 per hour plus shift differential is offered. You will perform preventative maintenance on material handling equipment, troubleshoot issues, weld and fabricate as needed, and maintain thorough records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years mechanical maintenance experience (conveyor systems highly preferred).
• Must have command of basic manual hand/power tools – drills, grinders, saws.
• Ability to weld and utilize a cutting torch.
• Previous forklift or other Powered Industrial Vehicle experience and certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs (electrical, mechanical and fabrication).
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical material handling equipment, including conveyors, tilt trays, sortation systems, and forklifts.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and repair emergency mechanical issues on failed material handling systems.
• Maintain accurate record keeping such as work orders, time sheets, and parts request.

What You'll Be Doing

Pay Details

• $34.00 to $37.00 per hour
