Job summary

Klingbeil Capital Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Montgomery Village, MD area. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, timely service ticket resolution, and preparing units for new residents.

You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, while maintaining a safe, clean property and delivering outstanding resident service. On-call duties and occasional evenings or weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair proficiency (beginner to intermediate).
• HVAC certification with willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Provide residents with excellent customer service and timely service ticket resolution.
• Perform general upkeep, grounds maintenance, snow removal, and ensure safety of the community.
• Work weekends/evenings and be on call for after-hours emergencies.
