Job summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Savannah, GA facility. The role involves testing, diagnosing, maintaining, repairing, and modifying machinery and control equipment, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems and complex electronics.

The 2nd shift position is non-exempt hourly and requires the ability to work with outside contractors, read blueprints, and collaborate with engineers to ensure production lines are restored quickly and safely.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance.
• Experience on plant electrical systems and equipment.
• Experience on plant mechanical installation and maintenance.
• Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment; log test readings.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine assembly methods.
• Align and assemble components using tools and fixtures.
• Repair and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance to meet specs.
• Coordinate with engineers to implement procedures.
• Investigate equipment failures and recommend improvements.
