Job summary

Husky Technologies in Milton, Vermont is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our clean, modern manufacturing facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, repair production equipment, and support facility systems in a fast-paced environment.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday with two shifts available: 1:30 PM–9:30 PM or 5:30 AM–1:30 PM. The position offers competitive pay, 401(k) with match, annual incentive, and on-site amenities including a cafeteria and fitness center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• License in a relevant trade preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in metalworking manufacturing environment.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic machine repairs and preventative maintenance for production and facility equipment.
• Create and complete work orders and enter data into CMMs.
• Dismantle, move, install and align machinery and plant equipment.
• Repair, adjust, disassemble, replace parts and reassemble machines, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment to proper operating condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair machine problems independently.
• Liaise with machine/part suppliers and direct sub-trades.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Perform mechanical skills including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
