Job summary

voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak, Pueblo, CO, seeks a Maintenance Technician to service CNC mills, presses, cranes and related equipment. The role covers preventive maintenance, repairs, and training operators in safe, efficient practices.

A strong mechanical background and safety mindset are essential for daily duties in a heavy manufacturing setting. Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED, plus mechanical training and maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Vocational technical training in mechanical related field preferred.
• 3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be able to score the minimum required on the corporate maintenance test.
• Forklift and Crane certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all plant production equipment and diagnose/repair CNC machines, hydraulic presses, saws, cranes, forklifts, welders.
• Perform preventative maintenance and train operators; maintain a work order system.
• Layout, install and start-up of project work.
• Organize and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Understand pneumatics, hydraulics and general mechanics.
• Complete daily work orders and assignments in a timely manner.
• Understand lock out tag out procedures and safety requirements.
• Adhere to Nortrak's Safety, Quality and Environmental Procedures, Practices and Policies.
