Job summary

RK Industries in Colorado is seeking a Maintenance Machine Technician responsible for high quality repair of equipment, performing preventive, predictive and routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and keeping detailed records of time, parts, and repairs.

The role requires hands-on work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC systems, fabricating and modifying equipment, and collaborating with plant personnel while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years experience in the same or similar industry.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC repairs as needed.
• Perform work order repairs, inspections and adjustments in a timely fashion.
• Fabrication and modification of new and existing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment including CNC machinery, presses, plasma cutters, etc.
• Gather and maintain a complete set of required tools (calipers, meters, etc.).
• Utilize diagnostic tools to define problem areas and assist with resolution.
• Follow safety policies and participate in safety programs to improve uptime and equipment life.
• Adhere to government regulations relating to powered equipment and train team members on setup and operation.
