Job summary

voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak in Cheyenne, Wyoming, seeks a Maintenance Specialist to service CNC milling machines, hydraulic presses, cranes, and other metalworking equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanicals, hydraulics, electrical and CNC systems, ensuring safety and efficiency on the production floor.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of maintenance experience, vocational mechanical training, and forklift/crane certifications.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Vocational technical training in mechanical related field.
• 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Must be able to score the minimum required on the corporate maintenance test.
• Forklift and Crane certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanicals, hydraulics, electrical and CNC electronics on manufacturing machinery.
• Train operators on preventive maintenance and maintain work order system.
• Layout, install and start up project work.
• Manage spare parts inventory.
• Understand pneumatics, hydraulics and general mechanics.
