Hydro‑Gear in Princeton, KY is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical and electrical skills to troubleshoot and maintain CNC machinery and production equipment. This full‑time role focuses on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

You will read schematics, use CMMS for work orders, and collaborate with engineering and operations to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience in machining equipment maintenance.
• Experience maintaining and repairing CNC mills and related equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, schematics, and electrical components.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms and maintenance documentation.
• Technical certification or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Machining, or a related field preferred.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Utilize PLC troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve equipment faults.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and work orders within the CMMS system.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to support manufacturing goals.
• Identify opportunities for equipment reliability improvements and process optimization.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Respond quickly and effectively to unplanned equipment downtime to minimize production disruptions
