Job summary

Timken Aurora Bearing Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair equipment and facilities, ensuring safety, quality and productivity. The role emphasizes mechanical troubleshooting and collaboration with maintenance personnel.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED with 3–5 years in manufacturing, own tools, and be able to work 8+ hours. 480V experience and CNC exposure are a plus. Timken offers day-one benefits and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; mechanical focus preferred.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with 480V electrical systems is a plus.
• Own tools and ability to work from ladders or platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment and the building to safety and productivity standards.
• Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, install, move, modify, and fabricate equipment fixtures and processes.
• Follow instructions and read manuals, drawings and work orders.
• Diagnose machinery and assist with layout, fabrication, welding, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures and manage inventory with supervision.
