Job summary

Timken Aurora Bearing Company seeks a Maintenance Mechanic in Illinois to maintain and repair equipment, and buildings, following safety, quality and productivity standards. You will troubleshoot, install, repair, and modify machinery, while coordinating with supervisors and other departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree or mechanical certifications preferred.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with 480-volt systems is a plus.
• CNC troubleshooting experience preferred; basic electrical and hydraulic skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment and building grounds to strict safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery, install and modify fixtures and processes.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work orders; ensure clean, safe work area.
• Coordinate with other departments and vendors; manage parts inventory.
