Job summary

Timken is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Maintainer to join our team. In this role you will troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems and repair machinery to reduce production downtime.

Strong mechanical and hydraulic experience, attention to safety and quality, and ability to work well in a team are essential. This position is full-time with Day Shift hours, 7 am-3 pm Mon-Fri and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and engineered drawings.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic breakdowns on process equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on process equipment.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, and replace faulty parts.
• Reassemble and test equipment for proper operation.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Document maintenance and complete reports.

Pay Range: Starting Pay $30.50/hr; Receive $34.00/hr after 6 months worked.

Position Summary

In this role you will troubleshoot mechanicalissues and repair machinery to decrease production down-time This role requires strong mechanical and hydraulic experience, intermediate knowledge of mechanicalprinciples, attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic breakdowns on process or process surpport machines/equipment.
• Follows prescribed procedures in making preventative maintenance to process equipment.
• Dismantles, inspects, repairs, adjusts or replace faulty parts.
• Reassembles and tests equipment for safe and proper orientation.
• Collaborate with team members and management to achieve production goals.
• Follows all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Performs related assignments such as logging jobs, maintenance reports, etc.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• 3 years or more of work experience as maintenance in a manufacturing environment with proven work experience with inspection, repair, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, acceptance criteria and engineered drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
