Job summary

High Point Residence Chicago Northwest in Chicago, IL is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to help keep our community safe, clean, and well-maintained for residents, families, and staff. This is a full-time role with a Sunday–Thursday schedule.

You will perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, floor care, apartment turnovers, and assist with grounds and equipment. Strong communication and dependable attendance are essential as you work with the team to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Preferred: healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or residential maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with CMMS and basic building systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general upkeep of the facility, including grounds, equipment, and common areas.

About the Role

High Point Residence Chicago Northwest is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. This entry-level position plays an important role in ensuring our community remains safe, clean, and well-maintained for residents, families, and staff.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the overall upkeep of the building, equipment, and grounds. This role includes routine maintenance, minor repairs, floor care, apartment turnovers, and maintaining a welcoming environment throughout the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
