Job summary

Adept Life Sciences in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production and facility equipment running safely and reliably in a cGMP environment.

You will work under the Maintenance & Engineering Manager, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, and support equipment used to produce capsules, tablets, powders, and other dietary supplements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience maintaining equipment in a cGMP-regulated facility (nutraceutical, food, dairy, or pharmaceutical).
• Basic understanding of electrical prints and mechanical schematics.
• Working knowledge of AC/DC motors, industrial contactors and overloads, pneumatic systems, and basic PLC-controlled systems.
• Ability to use standard diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of, or willingness to learn, cGMP and good documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production, packaging, and facility equipment according to the PM schedule and approved SOPs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems on manufacturing equipment, including blenders, encapsulators, tablet presses, powder fillers, conveyors, and bottling, capping, labeling, and packaging lines.
• Repair and maintain gearboxes, motors, bearings, chains, belts, and pneumatic components.
• Assist with troubleshooting basic electrical systems, including motors, contactors, overloads, relays, limit switches, sensors, and control circuits.
• Support troubleshooting of PLC-controlled equipment and HMIs under supervision.
• Replace faulty components and verify proper operation after repair before returning equipment to Production.
• Support equipment changeovers and change-part installation as needed.
