Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $21.00/hr

Position Overview

Centre Pointe apartments in Melbourne, FL has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities

1. Maintain the physical integrity of the community by performing general repairs to apartments, common areas, and grounds.
2. Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
3. Respond to resident service and maintenance requests promptly.
4. Keep the property safe and secure, correcting unsafe conditions immediately.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenditures, and apartment make-ready status.
6. Perform groundskeeping duties such as raking, sweeping, shoveling, and salting as needed.
7. Change locks and keys as required.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. At least 1 year of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
2. Proficiency in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, and cleaning.
3. Own tools and reliable transportation.
4. HVAC certification and CPO certification preferred; willingness to obtain CFC/EPA certification within 45 days.
5. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, walk between buildings, and perform manual tasks.
6. Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Fair Housing certification prior to resident interaction.
8. Willingness to undergo drug and background screening.

Work Hours and Benefits
