Avamere Rehabilitation at Burien is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support upkeep of a long-term care facility, assisted living, and memory care community in Burien, WA. Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience maintaining facilities or in a similar setting preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and basic building systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs to keep the facility in good order.
• Conduct safety checks, report hazards, and assist with snow/ice removal as needed.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitation, trash removal, floor care, and upkeep of interiors and exteriors.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies; keep records of activities.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for larger repairs; respond to maintenance requests promptly.
• Ensure compliance with fire and safety codes and participate in weather-emergency prep.
