Job summary

Heritage Properties is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician in Lowell, MA to uphold the upkeep and safety of our properties. You will address repair requests, perform routine inspections, and ensure clean and safe buildings for residents.

You'll collaborate with property managers, leasing agents, and other technicians, completing work orders promptly and contributing to a proactive maintenance program. A 24/7 on-call rotation is required. Valid driver's license and vehicle are needed.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to repair requests and perform routine inspections to ensure safety and functionality of properties.
• Complete work orders within 24-48 hours and manage apartment turnovers within 7 days of move-out.
• Collaborate with property managers, leasing agents and fellow technicians; communicate professionally with residents and contractors.
• Be on 24/7 on‑call rotation (one week out of every 5 weeks) for emergency maintenance after hours.
