Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and assist with equipment installation while supporting energy management and safety compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years of related experience. Strong organizational and communication skills, plus MS Office familiarity, are important for successful day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or trade school diploma; 1–2 years of related maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs+, stand, bend, and climb stairs/ladders.
• Proficiency with basic work routines and standard procedures.
• Clear communication to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and curious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and diagnose issues.
• Assist with installation or modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with maintenance systems.
• Support energy management and ensure operating efficiency of systems.
• Inspect installations for building code and safety compliance.
• Follow defined procedures to deliver outputs under supervision.
