Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and assist with installation and modification of equipment, while reviewing work orders and supporting energy management.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years related experience, and be able to lift 50 lbs. Excellent communication and computer skills are valued in CBRE's safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and diagnose problems.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems run efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Contribute to team output under supervision.
