A leading housing organization in Peoria, Illinois is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the upkeep of properties through effective maintenance and responsiveness to service requests. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of maintenance experience and a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years in the maintenance field.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
Skilled in using hand and power tools for repair and maintenance tasks.
Must frequently lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Basic proficiency in English for effective communication.
Responsibilities
Maintain the appearance of the buildings and property.
Complete unit turnovers within 3 days of move-out.
Perform painting duties and execute preventative maintenance tasks.
Respond to work orders for units and common areas.
Address maintenance emergencies after hours as needed.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
