Job summary

Conifer Realty LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Canandaigua, NY to keep affordable housing communities safe and well-maintained. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and on-call coverage to support residents and property operations.

You’ll work a Monday–Friday schedule, with potential weekend/after-hours coverage and opportunities to grow within a 50-year-old company that values communities and families.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime.
• Basic computer or mobile-app skills for work orders and timekeeping.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance across units and common areas.
• Paint, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work and cleaning.
• Maintain grounds, landscaping and seasonal upkeep.
• Respond to work orders promptly and rotate for on-call coverage.
• Prioritize safety, quality, and compliance in all tasks.
