Job summary

Milo’s Tea Company in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance department with inspections, overhauls, and preventative tasks to keep production lines running smoothly. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults, perform safe repairs, and document work in the CMMS.

The role requires reading instructions, basic math, and willingness to work nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade or vocational school diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Maintenance experience preferred; ability to read instructions and perform basic math.
• Willingness to work alternating shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned preventive work order tasks safely and in a timely manner.
• Follow all maintenance policies and procedures to meet department expectations.
• Complete work entries in CMMS system with all data fields completed as work is performed.
• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production operations.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust machines.
• Document all machine malfunctions on work order in CMMS system.
• Perform routine visual inspections of machinery and equipment.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and document findings to a work order with follow-up communication with supervisor or maintenance planner.
• Follow safety policy and procedures including lock out-tag-out, hot work permit, working from heights and confined spaces.
• Maintain a minimum of 65% work order versus paid hours metric by documenting all work performed.
• Uphold food safety requirements and perform other duties as assigned.
