Burlington Capital Properties is a nationally recognized property management company seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Miranda property located in Bedford, TX. We pride ourselves on providing a quality living experience for our residents and hiring top-notch employees.

Maintenance Technician - Bedford, TX

This full-time maintenance position requires availability Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with on-call rotation during evenings and weekends (schedule to be discussed during interviews).

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the condition of homes to prepare them for new residents, including touch-up painting, drywall, plumbing, flooring, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Troubleshoot and perform interior and exterior repairs on apartments, common areas, buildings, and grounds according to established procedures.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding service requests and unit readiness.
• Follow all safety and liability guidelines.
• Inspect laundry facilities, common area restrooms, etc., to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness.
• Participate in resident functions as requested by management.
• Be available for on-call duties as required.

Experience/Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, pools, and general trades.
• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• HVAC certification required.
• Ability to follow directives with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Positive interaction with residents, employees, vendors, and the public.
• Own basic tools for maintenance tasks.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 75 pounds. Reliable transportation required.
