Job summary

Gorman & Company in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support two affordable housing communities—Printery Row in Pulaski and Bay City Lofts in Green Bay. You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs, handle make-ready cleanups, and conduct daily property checks to maintain safety and curb appeal.

The role requires 2+ years in property maintenance, a valid drivers license, and a resident-first service approach. HVAC EPA Type II is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Valid drivers license and ability to meet insurability requirements.
• Ability to be the primary on-call technician.
• Strong customer service skills with a resident-first mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC-EPA (Type II), or EPA Universal preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Maintain exterior of the property and pool areas along with seasonal prep such as fall cleanup.
• Perform daily property walks to keep everything clean, safe, and looking sharp.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests when assigned.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using make-ready checklists.
• Inspect buildings and grounds to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
• Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and grounds.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors.
