PopUp Bagels in Meriden, CT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize bakery production and packaging equipment. You will help ensure safe, efficient operations and minimize downtime in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience in a continuous manufacturing environment (food preferred).
• Experience troubleshooting high-speed production and packaging equipment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting including motors, control systems, and high voltage.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues safely.
• Perform preventive maintenance for optimal performance and reliability.
• Replace bearings, sprockets, chains, motors, belts, gearboxes and related components.
• Troubleshoot high-speed packaging equipment including conveyors and labeling machines.
• Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, calibration, and adjustments.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records in CMMS.
• Follow safety protocols including lockout/tagout and PPE usage.
• Maintain a clean, safe maintenance workspace.
• Collaborate with outside contractors when needed.
