Job summary

Briggs & Stratton is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to troubleshoot and repair plant equipment, building and grounds. The role involves a broad range of maintenance tasks including machine repair, electrical, hydraulic and plumbing systems, and routine preventative maintenance.

Candidates should have 1.5 years of technical experience using mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skills, plus strong teamwork and communication abilities. High School diploma or GED is required.

• Performs a wide variety of maintenance work to maintain structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, electrical systems, hydraulics systems for a variety of equipment
• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment
• Performs preventative maintenance
• Performs various machining or bench operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges requiring skill and a basic knowledge of tooling practices and applications
• Performs other duties as assigned
